I'm just used to how easy my old computer, which I've had for about 30 years, is to use. But there's no reason why this machine can't sew light materials as well. Because the presser foot tension changes, it shouldn't be hard to use the right needle size for lighter fabrics. You can sew with many different thicknesses of fabric because you can change the pressure of the presser foot with a simple turn of a dial. Ability to Use a Free Arm: Shirt sleeves and pant legs are easy to sew with the Free-Arm.
